Complementary to our Open Science platform, PTI offers visitors hands-on workshops and demos of our research in action. Throughout our research journey, we work together to build an interdisciplinary community of scientists and industry leaders eager to take on challenges inherent to developing and applying novel proteomics technologies. We recognize that the scientific community thrives with the exchange of boundary pushing ideas just as much as the transfer of practical skills necessary to execute research at all levels. First hand experience in our lab is one way PTI supports fellow researchers in the field.
As part of our annual Single Cell Proteomics Conference, we offer registered participants a hands-on workshop at PTI. Participants take biological samples from start to finish through sample preparation via nPOP to mass spectrometry data acquisition and analysis. With this experience, workshop attendees can then implement PTI methodologies in their own research. As we continue to grow and expand our methods, PTI aims to provide alternative workshops highlighting these new approaches in proteomics research and application.
For a sample from our workshop series, watch the 2024 PTI workshop with Dr. Josh Cantlon: Parallel sample preparation for multiplexed single-cell proteomics using nPOP.
